The Presbyterian Women make arts and crafts throughout the year that are sold at the annual Fall Festival (formerly called The Bazaar) to raise money for local charities. This year it will be held on September 30th from 9am-2pm. $4,000.00 was raised from 2022’s Fall Festival. Since 1972, Presbyterian Women have worked annually to raise funds for the mission giving partner organizations. Please come support this event and give to some wonderful local causes.
Presbyterian Women is the national women’s organization of the Presbyterian Church USA. With a history of more than 200 years and more than 300,000 members, PW is organized at all levels of the Presbyterian Church USA.
The PW Purpose
Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves
- to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study,
- to support the mission of the church worldwide,
- to work for justice and peace,
- and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.
Northminster has two women’s groups that each meet once per month, except during the summer months:
- Esther Circle – Meets the 2nd Monday of each month
- Ruth Circle – Meets 2nd Thursday of each month
Northminster’s PW group also helps spearhead the Fall Festival that is hosted at Northminster each October. All proceeds from the Fall Festival are donated to local non-profit organizations.
